Alicia Doms Named Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Performer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Temple women's tennis player Alicia Doms (Barcelona, Spain/IES Francesc Macia) has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Performer of the Week for the week ending March 10, the conference office announced this evening.
Doms went 2-0 in combined play last week, including a win at first singles over Lehigh's Jenai Bilimoria (6-4,
6-2) en route to a 7-0 team victory. The junior then teamed up with Jordan Batey for an 8-3 No. 2 doubles win. Doms has won her last three singles bouts, all after moving up to the No. 1 spot, and has won five of her last six in doubles play, all with Batey.
Temple (4-7) returns to the court on Wednesday, March 13, when it travels to Duquesne for a 5 p.m. match against the A-10 foe.
