PHILADELPHIA
 – The Temple softball team travels to the Midwest this weekend for four games against A-10 foes Saint Louis and Butler. The Owls face the Billikens in a single game on Friday and another single game on Saturday, before heading to the Indianapolis to take on the Bulldogs in a doubleheader on Sunday.

The Cherry & White carry a 19-18 overall record and a 7-3 mark in A-10 play into the weekend's contests. TU currently sits in third place in the conference standings behind Saint Joseph's and UMass.

Juniors Stephanie Pasquale and Sarah Prezioso are in the top four among league players in batting average, both hitting over .400. Pasquale's .483 average leads all players, and Prezioso's .409 mark is the fourth best. In addition, Pasquale, who enters the weekend with a 21-game hit streak, also leads the league in RBI (52) and doubles (18). Both of those numbers are already Temple single-season records.

On the mound, freshman Kelsey Dominik leads the staff with a 9-2 record in 15 appearances. The rookie has tossed 70.2 innings and has recorded one of Temple's two shutouts on the year.
