Stephany Parcell and Rachel Schwaab Named to A-10 Lacrosse All-Championship Team

AMHERST, Mass. - Temple senior Stephany Parcell and freshman Rachel Schwaab were both named to the Atlantic 10 Lacrosse All-Championship Team at the conclusion of the 2013 A-10 Tournament. The Owls' season concluded in the semifinals of the tournament with a loss to Duquesne, but both players were standouts for Temple in the game.
Parcell and Schwaab each scored three goals to record hat tricks in the final game of the season, and Schwaab added an assist for four total points. Parcell had three draw controls and two ground balls, while Schwaab added a caused turnover to two ground balls.
Earlier in the week, Parcell was named to the A-10 First Team, while Schwaab garnered A-10 All-Rookie Team honors.
UMass won the title to claim its fifth consecutive A-10 championship, defeating Duquesne in the final by a score of 14-7.
