NEWPORT NEWS, Va. Temple's junior Alicia Doms (Barcelona, Spain) has been named to the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis All-Conference First Team in voting conducted among the 16 conference head coaches. In the same vote, classmate Yana Mavrina (Yaroslavl, Russia) was named a member of the A-10 All-Conference Second Team.

VCU's Cindy Chala was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Tennis Most Outstanding Performer, while Xavier's Alex Brinker was tabbed Most Outstanding Rookie Performer. Eric Toth of Xavier was honored as Coach of the Year.

She played anywhere between the first and third flights, going 5-4 at No. 2 and 3-0 at No. 3. In doubles action, Mavrina and sophomore Rebecca Breland led the team with a 12-5 record, including a 6-1 mark against A-10 foes. Mavrina becomes just the fifth Temple player to earn three all-conference selections.
