Lacrosse Honors Eight Total Graduates With the Class of 2013

PHILADELPHIA - Eight Temple lacrosse student-athletes in total have now graduated with the Class of 2013. The Spring graduates include Megan Chlada, Meghan Clothier, Keelin Hood, Jackie Mercer, Kellee Pace and Charlotte Swavola, while Missy Schweitzer and Kelsey Zenuk graduated earlier this year back in January.
Like Schweitzer and Zenuk, Hood was also a senior on the team in 2012. The rest of the graduates only recently played in their final game as Owls.
Mercer, recently announced as a finalist for the One Love Foundation's Yeardley Reynolds Love Unsung Hero Award, is an art major who was named to Temple's President's Honor Roll for the second time this year.
The other four graduates from this year's senior class were all named to Temple's Directors Honor Roll- Chlada, a health information management major, Clothier, an English major, Pace, an adult and organizational development major, and Swavola, a chemistry, human biology and anthropology double major.
Hood, an early childhood education major, was twice named to Temple's President's Honor Roll. Schweitzer, a kinesiology major, was a three-time Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team honoree in her Temple career. As a senior, she was named to Temple's Trustee Ten for having one of the 10 highest GPA's among all student-athletes. Zenuk, a finance major and a volunteer assistant coach for the Owls this past season, was named to Temple's Director's Honor Roll in each year of her playing career.
