Stephany Parcell and Charlotte Swavola Selected to Complete in the IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star Game

2013 IWLCA/Under Armour North-South All-Star Rosters
PHILADELPHIA - Temple lacrosse seniors Stephany Parcell and Charlotte Swavola have been selected to participate in the 2013 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star Game, an annual event which showcases the nation's top seniors.
The game will be held at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa., on Sunday, May 26, at 11:30 a.m. Parcell and Swavola are among 123 senior student-athletes in Divisions I, II and III from across the country selected to compete in the event, which is part of the IWLCA Champions' Cup.
Parcell was already honored as an IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team selection this season. She was also named to the Atlantic 10 First Team, the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team and the A-10 Tournament All-Championship Team. She started in all 17 games, leading the team with 40 goals and 18 assists for 58 points. Parcell finished her career ranked fourth all-time at Temple with 111 draw controls, and tied for 10th all-time at Temple in a single season with 40 draw controls in 2013.
Swavola was also named to the Atlantic 10 First Team this season, for the second time in her career. She scored 38 goals to rank second on the team and recorded nine assists to rank third. Her impressive numbers included a team-high 49 draw controls (sixth all-time in a single season at Temple), a team-high 42 ground balls and a team-high 20 caused turnovers.
Parcell and Swavola's honor makes it a second year in a row that Temple has had a senior named to the North-South All-Roster roster, following the selection of Stephanie Markunas in 2012.
