Pasquale Tabbed Madness Atlantic 10 Softball Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Temple softball junior Stephanie Pasquale (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) has been named the Madness Atlantic 10 Softball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness, announced Monday evening.
 
Pasquale batted .565 (13-for-23) in a 4-2 week for the Owls, recorded 11 RBI on the week to increase her school and Atlantic-10 single-season record to 74. The catcher had a slugging percentage of .739 and an on base percentage of .583, reaching base safely in every game. Against Atlantic 10 opponents, Pasquale went 9-for-15 (.600), recording her 20th double of the season and with that, tying the school career record with 41.
 
The Owls are 30-24 overall and finished conference play at 15-7. Temple tied for second place in the conference regular-season standings, earning a third seed, by way of tiebreaker, in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Championship. The Cherry & White face #6 Dayton at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at Elaine Sortino Field at the University of Massachusetts.
