A steady rain fell at Chodoff Field this morning as the Owls ventured out for their scheduled two and a half hour practice. With no cause for concern regarding the weather turning for the worse, head coach Matt Rhule thought it would benefit his players to get used to playing in the inclement weather conditions.
The Owls will practice tomorrow and do a walk through on Friday before heading to South Bend, Ind. The team will do walk through at Notre Dame Stadium upon arrival.
Weather should not be an issue when Temple takes the field against #14/11 Notre Dame on Saturday. According to weather.com on game day it is predicted to be 89 degrees and partly cloudy.
Temple vs. Notre Dame can be seen on NBC at 3:30pm Saturday afternoon. Mike Mayock will be calling the game joined by Dan Hicks in the booth. Alex Flanagan will be on the sidelines for NBC.
The game will also be broadcasted on 97.5 FM The Fanatic with Harry Donahue calling the play-by-play and former Temple great Paul Palmer providing analysis.
Temple student radio station WHIP will also broadcast the game online with Zach Gelb (play-by-play) and Joe DiMattei (color analysis) calling the action.
