Women's Soccer Ties Lafayette on the Road 0-0

EASTON, Pa. – Temple Women's Soccer tied Lafayette at Oaks Stadium 0-0 on Sunday afternoon. The tie pushes Temple's record to 5-2-1.
Temple and Lafayette both recorded 10 shots in the game, with Temple getting five of them on goal. The Owls had six corner kicks in the second half and another two in the second half, but couldn't produce a goal with the opportunities.
Erin Lafferty led the Owls in shots with four.
Goalie Shauni Kerkhoff made three saves in her sixth shutout of the season. She has only allowed two goals in eight games this season.
The Owls get a week break before their next game on Sept. 22nd against Delaware at 1:00 p.m. Delaware is 3-4 this season, and the Blue Hens have won three out of their past four games.
