Winning the first four games of the season, the Owls dropped two road games, losing to Philadelphia Soccer Six rival Saint Joseph's 1-0 last Saturday and Delaware 2-1 on Tuesday. They return home where they have a 3-0 record.
As of Sept. 10, the Owls are ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic region of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's latest poll. They moved up five spots from the previous week's poll.

Jared Martinelli is already off to a blistering start of the 2013 season. He has five goals and two assists to lead the team, including his first career hat trick in a 3-0 victory over Wofford.   He is tied for the best points per game average in the conference with two. He was named Offensive Player of the Week by the American Athletic Conference and Philadelphia Soccer Six on Sept. 9th.
Chas Wilson scored his first goal of the season against Delaware that gave the Owls a lead early in the game. He scored six goals last season.
10 players have started all six games for the Owls, with Sam Heller (two starts) and Nolan Hemmer (four starts) splitting the final starting spot.
Ranked as the #20 recruiting class of 2013, the newcomers for the Owls have already made an impact. Seven newcomers have played, with Stefan Mueller and Robert Sagel starting all six games. Sagel has made the biggest impact so far. He scored his first collegiate goal against Hofstra off a header from a corner kick by Martinelli.
