Women's Soccer Comes in at 9th in NCAA Regional Ranking

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Temple women's soccer entered the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Northeast Regional Poll at No. 9 on Tuesday. The Owls were previously ranked 8th and dropped to 9th with their 1-0 victory over Delaware St. and a 3-0 loss to UConn. UConn (11-4-4; 4-2-3) is ranked 4th in the poll and hold 4th place in the American Athletic Conference respectively.
The Owls currently post a record of 11-7-1 overall and 3-5-1 conference record. The Owls will go on the road to Orlando, Fla. Friday, against #9 seed SMU for the opening round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament. Temple is the #8th seed. The winner will take on Quarterfinal host #1 UCF on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
