Women's Soccer Earns Fourth Straight NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Both the women's and men's soccer teams earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 academic year. This is the second straight year receiving this award for both teams, and fourth straight for the women's team. The NSCAA Team Academic Awards were given to collegiate soccer teams who posted a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
A total of 861 soccer teams from Division I, II, and III received this prestigious award. Temple was one of 188 schools that had both men's and women's programs recognized. The women's team posted a 3.39 team grade point average. Â
This marks the tenth time the women's program has received the award since 1999.
