Dominik and Prezioso Named to TSU Tiger Classic All-Tournament Team

PHILADELPHIA – Sophomore Kelsey Dominik (Woolwich Township, N.J./Kingsway Regional) and senior Sarah Prezioso (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield) have been named to the 2014 TSU Tiger Classic All-Tournament team, announced at the conclusion of the tournament on Sunday, February 23. The Owls went 2-3 on the weekend.
Dominik led the team with a .500 batting average through five games, opening the weekend with a 7-for-8 performance with a homerun and five RBI through the first three games. The righthander also picked up a win on the mound for the Owls, going 1-1 on the weekend through 13.0 innings of work with a 3.23 ERA.
Prezioso had a solid weekend at the plate, recording at least one hit in each game. The shortstop led the team with nine hits, batting .474 with two doubles. Prezioso also recorded her first stolen base of the season, increasing her career total to 44. The speedster now sits just eight swipes short of the school record.
The Owls will be back in action next weekend at the USF Under Armour Invitational, opening the tournament with games against Florida Atlantic (4:30 p.m.) and Kennesaw State (6:45 p.m.) on Friday, February 28.
