Jaymie Tabor Named to BIG EAST Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Senior Jaymie Tabor has been named to the BIG EAST Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll for her performances the week of Feb. 17-23. Cincinnati's Megan Bell was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Rutgers' Amanda Currell was named the Defensive Player of the Week.
After sitting out game one for Temple due to injury, Tabor made a big impact in the Owls' other two games in their first week of the 2014 season. She scored two of Temple's four goals against La Salle, and then recorded a hat trick at Cornell, scoring three of the Owls' nine goals for a total of five on the week.
Both games were losses for Temple (7-4 vs. La Salle and 17-9 at Cornell). The Owls won their season opener against Saint Joseph's on Feb. 18, 11-7. Tabor recorded three draw controls at Cornell as well as a ground ball.
