PHILADELPHIA
- For its final regular season game, Temple men's basketball will head south to USF for a 2:00 p.m. match-up on Saturday, March 8 on ESPNews. Both teams currently stand with UCF in a three-way tie for eighth in the American Athletic Conference, so the contest will have seeding implications for next week's conference tournament in Memphis.

USF is 12-18 overall and 3-14 in The American, while Temple stands at 8-21 overall and also 3-14 in league play.

The audio broadcast of Saturday's game will be carried live by 97.5 The Fanatic. Fans can also listen online through the above link.

• Temple is playing the fifth-toughest schedule in NCAA Division I according to the ESPN RPI rankings.

• Temple is one of only six teams in Division I to have four players averaging 13 or more points per game.

• The Owls' top four scorers, who have accounted for 83 percent of the team's points, produced just 26 percent of last year's total points.

• On his Senior Night March 4, Dalton Pepper led all scorers with 26 points in an 86-78 overtime win vs. UCF.

• Pepper tops the team in scoring (17.5 ppg, 4th AAC), three-pointers (2.8 pg, T-1st AAC), and minutes played (37.3 mpg, 1st AAC).

• Three players scored 20+ points for TU in two of the last four games (Memphis, UCF); a feat that had previously not occurred since 2008.

Quenton DeCosey (14.9 ppg, 10th AAC) scored in double figures in the first 17 games of the season and has done so in 25 of 29 overall.

Anthony Lee leads the AAC in rebounds (8.7 rpg) and has posted 11 double-doubles this season, most recently with 20 points and a game-high 10 rebounds in the win vs. UCF.

Will Cummings is second on the team and fifth in the league with 16.6 ppg, and has scored in double figures in 25 of 27 games played.

• The match-up earlier this season on Jan. 9 in Philadelphia saw USF use a late run to defeat the Owls, 82-75.

• The first of the series' three meetings was two years ago in the NCAA Second Round at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The Bulls won by a score of 58-44 after trailing Temple 19-15 at halftime.

• USF has lost seven straight games; two of those by a single point (vs. UCF and at Rutgers).

• Senior forward Victor Rudd, who scored 17 points against the Owls in 2012, leads the Bulls with 16.0 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
