Temple at Houston Changed to Friday, October 17

PHILADELPHIA – The American Athletic Conference today announced that the game between Temple University and the University of Houston, previously scheduled for Saturday, October 18, has been changed to Friday, October 17. The Cougars will host the Owls on a Friday evening in the first season of their brand new 39,089 seat stadium.

The change allows for the game to be nationally televised on ESPNU. Kickoff time will be 8:00pm in Houston (9:00pm Eastern).

Temple is now scheduled for at least three nationally televised games - the season opener at Vanderbilt on Thursday, August 28, on the SEC Network; and two Friday night games on ESPNU - at Houston on October 17, and hosting Memphis on November 7.
