PHILADELPHIA – Temple University and the Elmwood Park Zoo jointly announced today the introduction of a ticket package for families to enjoy the 2014 Temple Football season and year round access to the Elmwood Park Zoo.
For only $250 a family can enjoy one year of admission to the Elmwood Park Zoo for two adults/parents and up to six children under the age of 18, plus 2014 Temple Football season tickets for all six home games at Lincoln Financial Field for two adults and one child (additional child season tickets may be purchased for $25 per child).

Located in Norristown, PA (1661 Harding Boulevard), the Elmwood Park Zoo welcomes over 300,000 visitors annually for an educational adventure in a fun, clean, and family-oriented environment. Celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2014, the zoo is home to a variety of species hailing primarily from North, Central and South America. Included among the rare species of animals is Stella, the four-year old great horned owl, who is an official mascot of the Temple Owls.
Led by second-year head coach Matt Rhule and sophomore quarterback P.J. Walker, the Temple Owls expect another year of exciting football. In a short time, Temple and the new American Athletic Conference have proven to be high quality, yet affordable, family entertainment. Last year alone, Temple fans attending games at Lincoln Financial Field witnessed a BCS Bowl Game Champion (UCF) and four 2014 NFL first round draft choices – not to mention the six Owls who were signed to NFL rookie free agent contracts. This season, East Carolina and Tulsa - two of the Conference's three new schools (Tulane being the other) make their first trip to Philadelphia in over 20 years.
