Individually, 60 percent of the student-athletes (321) earned a 3.0+ GPA during the spring, the most in the school's history, including 29 percent (157) which achieved a 3.5+ GPA.
Men's tennis (3.60) and field hockey (3.48) led 12 programs with a 3.0+ combined GPA for the spring.
Overall, 18 programs have a cumulative GPA of better than 3.0, led by men's tennis (3.56) and field hockey (3.45). All 24 sports have a combined team GPA of 2.85 or better.
Culminating their academic careers at Temple were the members of the Class of 2014, which included 90 graduates in 49 different majors with a combined class GPA of 3.16.
