PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University Football team can be seen taking part in the following promotional activities leading up to the 2014 season. Many members of the team and coaching staff will be on hand for these activities along with the spirit squad and mascot.
Saturday, July 19
12:00–2:00pm
Elmwood Park Zoo - Eagles Deck (1661 Harding Boulevard, Norristown, PA)
Meet the Owls – The Temple Owls will descend on Elmwood Park Zoo – home to Stella, Temple's live owl mascot. They will be there to sign autographs and greet visitors as part of Elmwood Park Zoo's "No Child Left Inside" Sports Day. In addition, More FM (101.1 FM) will be on site with music, prizes and giveaways, and the Phillie Phanatic will be making an appearance at 2:00pm. Fans wearing Temple gear can take advantage of a special buy one day pass to the Zoo – and receive an additional day pass for free! Matt Rhule and the defense challenge Marcus Satterfield and the offense in a local version of Family Feud. The 30 minute game show pits two 4-man teams in a test of Philadelphia, Sports and Temple knowledge.

Members of the Temple Football team will be in attendance to watch Temple alum Wayne Tribue and the Philadelphia Soul take on the San Jose Sabercats in their last home game of the season. Fans can visit the Temple players on the concourse after the game for an autograph session, and can purchase discounted tickets to sit with the team in the Temple section by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-8499.
