Owls Prepare for 2014 Opener at Vanderbilt

The Owls will open the 2014 football season on a nationally-televised stage on Thursday, August 28 as they take on Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
The Owls finished the season on a high note with a 41-21 victory at Memphis and hope to begin the 2014 season the same way. This will be the first time Temple will play back-to-back games in the state of Tennessee – albeit 271 days apart.
The game will kick off at 9:15 pm ET on SEC Network, with Dave Neal (play-by-play), Andre Ware (analyst) and Laura Rutledge (sideline reporter). SEC Network can be found on Comcast Xfinity on channel 711 or 864 HD; DirecTV on channel 611; or DISH Network on channel 408.
Those in the Philadelphia area can listen to the game on 97.5 FM The Phanatic with Harry Donahue (play-by-play), Paul Palmer (analyst) and Harry Mayes (sidelines).
