Women's Soccer Ranked No. 8 in NSCAA/ Continental Tire Northeast Regional Poll

KANSAS C ITY, Kan. – Temple women's soccer entered the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Northeast Regional Poll at No. 8 on Tuesday. The Owls were previously unranked but were buoyed by a 1-0 road win at Saint Joseph's last Friday.
The Owls stayed unbeaten after defeating the Hawks. Shauni Kerkhoff registered another shutout as the Owls have still not allowed a goal yet this season. Gina DiTaranto scored her team leading fourth goal of the season with less than three minutes to win the game.
Temple returns to action on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Rider where the Owls will look to match the program's best start to a season that was set last year.
