Homecoming Showdown with Tulsa to be Nationally-Televised

The American Athletic Conference has announced that the October 11 game between Temple and the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane will be broadcast at noon on ESPNews. This game serves as Temple's homecoming.
Those in the Philadelphia area will also be able to listen to the game on 97.5 FM The Fanatic with Harry Donahue (play-by-play), Paul Palmer (analyst) and Harry Mayes (sidelines).
After the Owls' AAC opener victory against Connecticut, several players received awards for their performances.
DL Praise Martin-Oguike and K Austin Jones were named Defensive and Special Team Players of the Week, respectively, by the American Athletic Conference. Martin-Oguike also received AAC Defensive Player of the Week honors from College Madness.
QB P.J. Walker was named the AAC Player of the Week by Athlon's and CB Tavon Young received a Defensive Back of the Week honorable mention from College Football Performance Awards. Both Walker and Young were named to the AAC honor roll.
