2014 (Junior): Led the Owls with a career-high four interceptions ... led the conference with 153 INT return yards ... his 13 passes defended (4 INTs, 9 PBs) ranked third in the conference ... was the lone returning starter in the secondary from a year ago ... was awarded the #1 jersey to wear on opening day (given to one of the toughest players on the team) and responded with his best game ... intercepted two passes each leading to FGs as the Owls beat Vanderbilt and earned American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts...also awarded the Jim Thorpe Award for week 1 ... returned a 93-yard interception for a touchdown at Connecticut in week 4 (QB Chandler Whitmer) ... recorded a fumble recovery vs. East Carolina and raced 63 yards for a TD to give Temple a 7-0 lead ... after donning #1 for 7 of 8 games, was awarded the number for the remainder of the season ... intercepted QB Christian Hackenberg in week 10 at Penn State for his fourth interception of the season.
2013 (Sophomore): Played in every game, starting 6 (games 1-3, 7-8 & 10) ... shared the LCB position with senior Zamel Johnson ... led the club in pass breakups (5) and tied for the lead in INTs ... had the team’s first INT of the season (game 7) ... in fact, he owns 3 of the last 5 INTs by the Owls dating back to week 3 of 2012 ... was fourth on the team with 51 total tackles (39 solos).
2012 (Freshman): Played in 10 games with two starts at corner … one of 14 true freshmen to see game action and one of just four true freshmen to earn a starting role … had a solo stop and an interception against No. 19/17 Rutgers … had two tackles and his first career interception at Penn State.
High School: Played DB and WR for coach Ronnie Crump at Potomac HS … 2011 All-Met Defense selection … 2011 first-team All-League … 2011 Chick-fil-A Challenge All-Star … helped the Washington All-Stars to a 14-6 win over Baltimore in the 2011 Crab Bowl … 2010 first-team All-State honoree … 2010 All-County selection … 2010 first-team All-League … as a junior, had 31 tackles, 12 break-ups, 7 INTs, and a fumble recovery … had 35 receptions for 9 TDs and added 3 TDs on an interception return, fumble recovery, and punt return … also participated in track … ran the first leg on the 4x100 relay team which won first place in the Championships of the Americas at the 2011 Penn Relays… later broke the Maryland state high school record in the 4x100 that stood for 20 years … attended the 2011 Temple Football Camp.
