2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not make the opening day roster and began working with the athletic training staff ... was added to the roster following Austin Jones' injury in week 6.
2015 (Freshman): Joined team as a walk-on ... did not see game action and redshirted.
High School: Played for coach Paul Meyers at Bishop Shanahan High School in the Ches-Mont Conference … lettered 3 years as a kicker … honorable mention all-conference senior year … set single-season scoring record senior year … named to Valor Bowl and kicked game-winning field goal as time expired … also played lacrosse in school.
Personal: Born Jacob J. Geiger in Malvern, Pa. …parents are Joe and Kelly Geiger … father Joe went to Temple … siblings are Joe (22) and Caroline (18) … has a pet dog named Zeus … favorites include the Eagles (team), Transformers (movie), pasta (food), economics (subject), and country (music) … accounting major looking to run his own business.
