Erin Lafferty named to Women’s Soccer Conference Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Temple women's soccer player Erin Lafferty was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll after her performance this past week. Lafferty anchored the Owls defense as well as contributed to the offensive attack last week.
Temple women's soccer opened conference play with a 2-1 win at Cincinnati Thursday night. At the 72:48 minute mark Erin Lafferty took a free kick from 25 yards out and bent it in the upper right post. "Erin Lafferty's goal might have been one of the most beautiful goals I've ever seen and deserves the top play of the week," said head coach Seamus O'Connor.

The Owls will be back in action Thursday, Oct. 2nd against Tulsa where they return home to Ambler Sports Complex. This will be the Owls' first home game since their 3-0 victory over Mount Saint Mary's on Aug. 24th. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start.
