Men's Soccer Falls to No. 16 Penn State 1-0 on the Road

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Temple men's soccer dropped a non-conference game 1-0 at No. 16 Penn State on Friday night at Jeffrey Field. Temple falls to 1-2 while Penn State improves to 3-0.
Penn State's Owen Griffith scored the game-winning goal with one minute left in the first half.
The Owls registered eight shots in the second half in an attempt to tie the game, but the Nittany Lion's goalie Andrew Wolverton made three saves to deny the comeback. Felipe Liborio led the Owls with four shots.
Dan Scheck made four saves in the game, two in each half.
Temple stays on the road as it travels to Duke next Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
