Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Play at ITA Atlantic Regional Championship

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Temple women's tennis team's fall season came to a close this weekend at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championship, hosted by Liberty University.
In the Owls only main draw set, Alina Aburakhimova defeated Old Dominion's Nikol Hristova, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(4), but later fell to Maryland's Ekaterina Tour, 7-6(7), 4-6, 6-3.
In an extra match, Yana Khon defeated Marshall's Anne Gulsrud, 6-2, 5-7, 10-7.
The Owls will be back in action in January, as they open their season at the City Six Women's Invitational on January 23.
