Temple Hires Allison Daly as Athletics Travel Coordinator

PHILADELPHIA - Temple Athletics Associate AD/Finance & Administration Tim Thiess has announced the hiring of Allison Daly for the newly-created Athletics Travel Coordinator position. Daly comes to Temple after spending two years as the Director of Operations for women's basketball at the University of Delaware.
In her role with the Owls, Daly will manage the planning and booking of team and individual travel for athletics administration staff and all 19 of Temple's varsity athletic programs.
"I am excited to welcome Alli to our Temple Athletics family," said Thiess. "The experience and passion she brings to Temple will prove to be a vital asset to all of our teams."
While at Delaware, Daly was responsible for the oversight of travel arrangements, practice scheduling, team managers and film exchange in addition to assisting with administrative duties.
Prior to her role at Delaware, Daly was the director of operations for her alma mater, Saint Francis University, for the 2012-13 season.
A 2011 graduate of Saint Francis, Daly scored 1,173 career points with the Red Flash, the 14th-most in program history. She earned her bachelors degree from Saint Francis in Citizenship Education in 2011, and went on to earn her master's degree in Educational Leadership in December, 2014.
Daly is a native of Harrisburg, Pa., and was a member of two Pennsylvania state semifinalist teams at Trinity High School.
