Matakevich Named to American Athletic Conference Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Senior linebacker Tyler Matakevich of the #25 (AP) Temple Owls has been named to the American Athletic Conference's Honor Roll today. His 11 tackles led the team in the 31-12 win over #21 Memphis. The Owls limited the sixth-best scoring offense to four field goals and 309 yards below their average in production. Matakevich remains the only FBS defender to lead his team in tackles every game this season. He also became the seventh player in FBS history to record 100 tackles in his four seasons.
