2015 Individual Statistics

2015 has been a breakout season for Jahad Thomas as the starting running back for the Owls. While he showed his potential with explosive plays in 2014, he has taken the role of workhorse that hasn't been filled since Bernard Pierce wore the Cherry and White. Thomas has combined that burst of speed with newfound consistency and power running to become one of the top backs in the country. He didn't record a rushing touchdown in 2014 but has at least one in every game of 2015. His yardage went from 336 in 2014 to 1,035 this season, becoming the 10th Owl to record a 1,000-yard season on the ground. A threat on receiving routes and as a returner, he is 16th in the nation with over 143 all-purpose yards per game. His 17 touchdowns on the season leads all scoring for the Owls.
