Football Finishes Seventh Spring Practice

PHILADELPHIA -- The Owls practiced today, wrapping up their seventh of 15 spring sessions.

The Owls returned to the practice field after the holiday weekend and were able to get in the full schedule despite the threat of rain. Following practice, head coach Matt Rhule addressed the assembled media and answered an assortment of questions. Today's focus was on the development of two young players – one on each side of the ball. Hear what Coach Rhule had to say about the progress of WR Ventell Bryant and DB Kareem Ali.

Following Rhule, two senior leaders, center Kyle Friend and defensive back Tavon Young stepped up to the podium to field some questions from the press.

The next practice will take place on Thursday, April 9. The annual Cherry & White Game will kickoff at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, on Chodoff Field at Edberg Olson Hall.
