Owls Flying Around Town This Week

PHILADELPHIA – As the 2015 Temple University football season quickly approaches – one that according to an early ESPN prediction could find the Owls atop the American Athletic Conference – the football team will take part in the following community activities. Many members of the team will be on hand for these activities along with the spirit squad and mascot.
Wednesday, July 22

Reading Terminal Market (51 N. 12th St., Philadelphia, PA)
Temple Football is taking over Reading Terminal Market! Members of the Temple Football team and spirit squad will be working behind the counters at Philadelphia's iconic eatery, while meeting and greeting fans, at Bassetts Ice Cream, Famous 4th Street Cookie Co., Millers Twist and Beck's Cajun Cafe. Bassetts will offer a 10% discount and Miller's Twist will offer a 50% discount (Soft Pretzel for $1 instead of $2) to fans wearing Temple Gear.

Elmwood Park Zoo - Eagles Deck (1661 Harding Boulevard, Norristown, PA 19401)
The Temple Owls will descend on Elmwood Park Zoo – home to Stella, Temple's live owl mascot - for the Zoo's "Sports Day." Football players and spirit squad will be there to sign autographs, take pictures and greet zoo visitors.
The 2015 Temple football schedule features six exciting home games at Lincoln Financial Field. The Owls open with Penn State on September 5, before battling Tulane (October 10) and UCF (October 17) in back-to-back weekends. Notre Dame comes to town for a Halloween clash on October 31, and the Owls wrap up their home schedule with games against Memphis (November 21) and UConn (November 28).
Temple football games continue to be among the best entertainment values for enthusiastic sports fans and their families. Season ticket prices are $150 (End Zone); $199 (Sideline) and $275 (Club Level).
In addition, two different three-game plans are available, a Penn State three-game pack, and a Notre Dame three-game pack. The Penn State pack gets you a ticket to the Temple-Penn State game (9/5) and two additional games of your choice (not including Notre Dame) for as low as $85. The Notre Dame pack gets you a ticket to the Temple-Notre Dame game (10/31), plus two additional games of your choice (not including Penn State) for as low as $100.
