PHILADELPHIA – Earlier this week, the American Athletic Conference held its annual Football Media Day in Newport, Rhode Island. Temple head coach Matt Rhule and four seniors – OL Kyle Friend, DL Matt Ioannidis, LB Tyler Matakevich and DB Tavon Young – represented the Owls as everyone prepared for the kickoff of the 2015 season.
Day two was a series of media interviews with national broadcasters and writers as well as representatives from each of the 12 local media markets. Click here for video.
Day one began with a festive clambake where everyone was treated to the local fare featuring lobsters and clam chowder. Players from all 12 teams had a chance to socialize with each other before becoming on-field rivals this fall. Click here for video.
