Farrell, Nash Receive Weekly Conference Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After a perfect 2-0 weekend for Temple women's soccer, senior Kelly Farrell and freshman Jordan Nash have both been named to the American Athletic Conference weekly award list.

Farrell picked up Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring her first career hat trick on Sunday in a 3-1 win against city rival Saint Joseph's. Farrell's 11 goals on the season ranks third in Temple history for most goals scored in a single season (record is 13 set back in 1994 and 1995).

Farrell currently ranks first in the American Athletic Conference in goals, goals per game (1.22), points (24) and points per game (2.67).

Nash picks up her second conference honor of the season, as she was named Goalkeeper of the Week. She recorded her second shutout against La Salle on Friday, saving six shots. On Sunday, Nash followed up with another stellar performance as she saved a career-high eight shots and allowed only one goal.

On the weekend, Nash complied a 0.944 save percentage and helped Temple to its fifth shutout of the season (tied for fourth overall in Temple history).

Tallied six saves over the weekend, including five in her fifth shutout of the season against Old Dominion.

Scored her second game-winning goal of the season while lifting the Pirates to a 1-0 win over Old Dominion.
