DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – After defeating confernece opponent East Carolina on Friday afternoon, the Temple women's tennis team fell in a weekend battle with #57 Old Dominion, 4-3.

In doubles, the Monarchs claimed the first point after sweeping all three flights. In singles, Mariana Bedon helped to tie things up at one, defeating Olivia Large, 6-1, 6-0 at the sixth flight. However, a 6-2, 6-3 fourth flight win by ODU's Ingrid Vojcinakova over Yana Khon and Marijana Novakovic's 6-4, 7-6 fifth flight victory over Dina Karina helped to seal the victory for the Monarchs.

Temple was able to pick up wins at the second flight, as Anais Nussaume defeated Nikol Hristova, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8, and Minami Okajima battled with Adriana Rajkovic at the third flight, ultimately winning 7-6 (2), 4-6, 10-2.

The Owls will next face off against conference opponent Cincinnati at February 12 at 9 a.m. at Legacy Tennis Center.
