Temple Serving as Mid-Afternoon Treat in South Philly Saturday Sports Spectacular

PHILADELPHIA – On Saturday, October 29, the sports complex in South Philadelphia will be abuzz with activity. At the Wells Fargo Center, the 76ers will host the Atlanta Hawks at 12:30 p.m., and at 7:00 p.m. the Flyers will host the Pittsburgh Penguins. In between, Temple will host Cincinnati across the street at Lincoln Financial Field for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
Fans looking to take in a double-header, or daring to experience the trifecta, can purchase discounted tickets to attend the Temple-Cincinnati game, which will also be Temple's annual Cancer Awareness Day. Anyone showing a 76ers or Flyers ticket from that day will receive $5 off a Temple ticket at the Lincoln Financial Field box office on game day.
Additionally, the first 3,000 fans ages 14-and-younger will receive Temple trick-or-treat bags. Kids will be able to pick up candy in the Kids Zone at the stadium.
So whether you support the Red, White & Blue, or wear Orange & Black, come out and cheer on the Cherry & White.
