Boumerhi Named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Temple kicker Aaron Boumerhi has been named the American Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his week nine performance against Cincinnati. This is the freshman's second-consecutive week earning the honor, going 2-2 on field goals of 26 and 27 yards, along with a perfect 4-4 on extra points.
The Owl take to the road this week, traveling to take on UConn this upcoming Friday night (11/4). The game is slated for kickoff at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcasted on ESPN2.
