Lacrosse Hosts UC Davis at 1 PM on Sunday

PHILADELPHIA - Coming off a dominating, 13-2 win against La Salle earlier this week, Temple lacrosse (1-1) will host a foe from a little further away Sunday as the Owls take on UC Davis (1-0) at 1 p.m. on Geasey Field.Â
The Owls fell 8-5 in their season opener to #16 Louisville before rebounding for the big win against La Salle. UC Davis is 1-0 so far with a 12-7 win at Bryant on Friday.
Three different players lead Temple with three goals already this season, including senior Kirstie Connor who recorded a hat trick against La Salle. Senior Rachel Schwaab also has three goals along with a pair of assists, while junior Morgan Glassford has three goals, an assist, and leads the team with five draw controls.Â
Seniors Ellie Delich and Courtney Neff and freshman Taylor Cuenin all recorded hat tricks for UC Davis in the Aggies' 12-7 win against Bryant to open the season.
Temple and UC Davis have met three times before, with the Aggies holding a 2-1 lead in the series. The last game was back in 2011 on the Owls' home field, with UC Davis winning 15-7.
