ABILENE, Texas – The Temple women's tennis team dropped another road match this weekend, falling to Abilene Christian, 5-2.

The Owls picked up a win in doubles play, as Dina Karina and Alina Abdurakhimova defeated Kaysie Hermsdorf and Lucile Pothier, 6-4 at the second flight. However, the Wildcats would take wins at flights one and three to clinch the point.

In singles, Anais Nussaume took a win at the second flight, defeating Hermsdorf, 6-1, 6-3. Mariana Bedon also clinched a win at the sixth flight, taking down Jordan Henry, 6-3, 6-2.

The Owls move to 5-4 on the season and will return home to face Binghamton on March 11 at 9 a.m. at Legacy Tennis Cente.r
