PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's tennis cruised to a 6-0 win over Hampton on Saturday afternoon. The Owls are now 9-4 on the season.

In singles play, the Owls were able to clinch the match in four straight-sets. Monet Stuckey-Willis got things started with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Julia d'Auvergne at the fourth flight, while Anais Nussaume picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win over Mikaela Pierce at the third flight. Yana Khon grabbed a 6-2, 6-1 over Cherise Slocombe at the second flight. Alina Abdurakhimova secured the win with a 7-5, 6-1 win at the first flight over Marian Mitaishvili.

Mariana Bedon and Dina Karina each picked up wins at the fifth and sixth flights, respectively.

Temple will be back in action on April 10 when they host Fairleigh Dickinson at 11:00 a.m. at TU Pavilion. Prior to the match, the team will recognize the Class of 2016.
