Jaqi Kakalecik Named to BIG EAST Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After limiting Vanderbilt to just three goals in a 7-3 win for Temple lacrosse last weekend, senior goalkeeper Jaqi Kakalecik has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
Kakalecik kept the Commodores scoreless in the second half, making three of her four total saves in that period. She faced 17 shots while making her four saves, posting a .571 save percentage for Temple. Kakalecik has played every minute in the cage this season for Temple, has been named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week twice this season. Her goals-against average of 6.25 ranks fourth among all players in NCAA Division I, while her saves percentage of .500 ranks 16th nationally.
The Owls are back in action on Wednesday, April 13, hosting BIG EAST rival UConn at 3 p.m.
