Temple-Penn State Kickoff Time Set for Noon on Sept. 17

PHILADELPHIA – The kickoff time for Temple's football game at Penn State on September 17 has been set for noon. The game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network and broadcast on 97.5 The Fanatic.
The Owls defeated the Nittany Lions, 27-10, at Lincoln Financial Field to open the 2015 season. It marked the program's first win over Penn State in 74 years and propelled the Cherry and White to its best-ever start to a season (7-0). That start earned TU a spot in the Top 25 and lured ESPN College GameDay to Philadelphia for the team's ABC prime-time showdown against #9 Notre Dame.
Temple returns 39 lettermen, including 12 starters, from its 2015 team that ended the season with a school-record 10 wins and a spot in the Marmot Boca Raton Bowl.
The Owls open the 2016 season at Lincoln Financial Field against Army on Friday, September 2 at 7:00 pm.
