Four Game Times Announced for 2016 Temple Football Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Four Temple Football games have been assigned times as the American Athletic Conference released some of its game times and television assignments for the 2016 Football season.
Temple's game against Stony Brook, to be played on Saturday, September 10 at Lincoln Financial Field, will kick off at 1:00 p.m. and be televised live by ESPN3.
The Owls' Thursday night game (Oct. 6) at Memphis will be televised by ESPN with kickoff now set for 8:00 p.m.
On Friday, October 21, Temple will host USF at Lincoln Financial Field with the ESPN-televised contest kicking off at 7:00 p.m.
The final Temple game time announced was the Owls' November 4 game at UConn. The ESPN2-televised contest will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
The Conference also announced that the 2016 American Athletic Conference Championship game, to be played on Saturday, December 3, will kick off at noon on either ABC or ESPN.
Temple returns 39 lettermen, including 12 starters, from its 2015 team that ended the season with a school-record 10 wins and a spot in the Marmot Boca Raton Bowl.
The Owls open the 2016 season at Lincoln Financial Field against Army on Friday, September 2 at 7:00 pm.
