Football's Thomas Earns Conference Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- Senior running back Jahad Thomas was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll this week. He earned the distinction for his performance in the Owl's 48-20 victory over Charlotte where he accumulated 143 all-purpose yards along with two rushing touchdowns on the day, helping the team to a victory in Homecoming week. Overall, Thomas rushed 15 times for 68 yards and added 49 yards on three catches. He also had one kickoff return and one punt return.
 
Thomas and the Owls are preparing to open up conference play against SMU this upcoming Saturday, October 1. Kickoff on ESPNews is set for 12:00 p.m.
