Temple Football: What It Means to Wear a Single Digit

9.6.16 | Football

Wearing a single-digit jersey is considered to be one of the highest honors an Owl can earn. These are awarded to the student-athletes deemed by their teammates to be the toughest members of the team. Five players have carried over the honor from last season. Avery Williams, Sean Chandler, and Stephaun Marshall have donned their numbers since 2014. Four vacancies were filled at the start of the 2016 season - Ventell Bryant, Jacob Martin, Haason Reddick, and Phillip Walker. Click here to watch video.
