Temple Cross Country Hosts Annual Big 5 Invitational

PHILADELPHIA - Friday night, Temple hosts the Big 5 Invitational at Belmont Plateau in West Fairmount Park. The annual meet brings together the five Philadelphia schools (Temple, Penn, Villanova, Saint Joseph's, and LaSalle) for some friendly competition.

Here's what Head Coach James Snyder has to say about this year's meet: "The Big 5 is a fun way to kick things off. We have a really neat running community in the city. Although we might see some of the schools running out on the trails it is great to see everyone together."

The men's race will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and the women's race will begin at 6:00 p.m.
