Lacrosse to Host 11th Annual Philly 5 Tournament on Oct. 22

PHILADELPHIA - Temple lacrosse is getting set to host the 11th annual Philly 5 Lacrosse Tournament on Sunday, Oct. 22 at the Temple Sports Complex. The action features Temple, Drexel, La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Villanova in fall exhibition play, and every team will face every other team in a series of games running from 9 a.m. to 4:25 p.m.

This year's Philly 5 logo, pictured above, will be on t-shirts for sale at the tournament for $20.

The Philly 5 Tournament features the top lacrosse talent in the area. Fans will be able to witness the top local rivalries in action at this highly-anticipated annual event. The tournament aims to bring Division I women's lacrosse schools in the Philadelphia area together for a day of competition and promotion of the sport in the city.

9:00-9:40 a.m. - Temple vs. Drexel
9:45-10:25 a.m. - Villanova vs. Temple
10:30-11:10 a.m. - La Salle vs. Drexel
11:15-11:55 a.m. - Drexel vs. Villanova
12:00-12:40 p.m. - Temple vs. La Salle
12:45-1:25 p.m. - Villanova vs. La Salle
1:30-2:10 p.m. - Drexel vs. Saint Joseph's
2:15-2:55 p.m. - Temple vs. Saint Joseph's
3:00-3:40 p.m. - Saint Joseph's vs. Villanova
3:45-4:25 p.m. - La Salle vs. Saint Joseph's
