Brenda McDermott Named to BIG EAST Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After her game-winning performance for Temple lacrosse on March 25, senior Brenda McDermott has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll. McDermott is being honored by the league for a second time this season, after earning Attacker of the Week recognition on Feb. 14.
McDermott was clutch for the Owls against Marquette, totaling six points with none bigger than the overtime game-winning goal with 3:19 left in the extra frame. The senior scored a hat trick and added three assists, along with two draw controls, a caused turnover and a ground ball in Temple's 17-16 victory.
Temple is 8-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play. Next up for the Owls is a 1 p.m. contest at Georgetown on Saturday, April 1.
