Lacrosse's Nicole Latgis Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After helping Temple lacrosse go 2-0 last week, junior defender Nicole Latgis has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. The conference recognition is the first for Latgis in her career as an Owl.
Latgis was assigned to Cincinnati's leading scorer, Monica Borzillo, who was held to zero goals and just a single assist in the Owls' 11-9 win against the Bearcats on April 5. She also recorded four caused turnovers and six ground balls in the victory. Latgis added three caused turnovers and three ground balls in Temple's 13-11 win vs. Villanova on April 8, helping to hold the Wildcats' leading scorer, Katie Comerford, to just a single goal.
Temple is back in action at home on Wednesday, April 12, taking on new league member Butler at 3 p.m.
