Basileo Named to American Weekly Honor Roll for the Second Time

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference announced today that sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Basileo was named to the league's weekly honor roll again for her play this past week in matches against Towson and Delaware State.
Basileo did not let up a goal in either match she played this past week. Against Towson, she had five saves in 110 minutes of play including a crucial one at the end of the first overtime period.
The Philadelphia, Pa. native now has a 3-0-1 record in her first four career starts and has a GAA of 0.27 for the season.
Temple is now 4-3-1 on the season and has held its last three opponents scoreless. The Owls will travel to Central Connecticut State next week as they take on the Blue Devils on Saturday, Sept. 23 with a 7 p.m. start time.
